Olivia Willett
About Olivia
Olivia Adamson is a Senior Solicitor and Director of Adamson & Adamson Lawyers, specialising in family law, Wills and Estate Planning. With more than twenty years of legal experience across both the United Kingdom and Australia, Olivia brings extensive knowledge, practical insight and strong advocacy to every matter she handles.
Known for her direct, no-nonsense approach, Olivia is committed to helping clients achieve practical outcomes in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. Her compassionate manner, combined with her strong legal experience, makes her highly sought after by clients navigating complex and personal family law matters.
In addition to English, Olivia speaks several languages, including French and four African languages. This allows her to communicate with and support clients from diverse cultural backgrounds with greater understanding, clarity and care.
International legal experience with a strong family law focus
Olivia completed her law degree in the UK (University of London) and practised in the UK for several years before relocating to Australia in 2007. Olivia was called to the Bar in the UK in 2002 and became a member of Lincolns Inn the same year. Olivia worked for a few private law firms in London specialising in family law before coming to Australia.
Olivia was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in May 2009 and the High Court of Australia in November 2013. Olivia was successful in securing employment with Butcher Paull and Calder in July 2009 until August 2012 when she started up Adamson & Adamson Lawyers.
Prior to securing employment with Butcher Paull and Calder she worked at Shann Family Lawyers for approximately 12 months where she worked exclusively in family law.
